“Good Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

I was a little concerned as I have never been to LA before, I was in town for the BCS Championship at the Rose Bowl. The area the hotel in was not terrible, I was a little skeptical when we drove up, but it turned out to be fine. The room was extremely clean, minus the fold out couch linens had not been replaced. The restroom was clean and had plenty of travel sized toiletries. Front desk staff was very helpful and accommodated our very late check-in.

Room Tip: Our room was an odd shaped room on the corner of the third floor and it was a little noisy, but was...

We choose this accommodation based on TA reviews and we were not disappointed. We stayed 1 night during visiting LA and even though it is a bit away from the main attractions of LA it is definitely worth it. Although a bit outdated the room was huge, clean and comfortable, we got requested extra pillows with no problems, the manager Rickard was most helpful. No breakfast is served, but they have a common room downstairs where you can make tea/coffee and they have some fruits/bars available for anyone! It is a great deal for LA area so don't hesitate but go ahead and book! We will definitely use this accommodation in the future!

I stayed here in January 2014 while in the area for the BCS National Championship game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. It was perfect for me, I was traveling alone and just needed a place to stay that wouldn't cost an arm & a leg (as most other Pasadena area hotels price-gouge during sporting events). I paid $49/night, can't beat it. It was about 15 minutes from downtown Pasadena & Rose Bowl stadium, 40 mins from LAX. Plenty of dining/shopping options within a 5 minute drive (not too much in a walkable distance). All the other reviews are spot-on. Clean and friendly, but very BASIC. If you don't mind forgoing some frills like a pool or fitness center, this is a great spot for a "home base" before heading out for sightseeing or to the areas attractions. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: I don't think any room here qualifies as having a good view. One side faces the street (which is...

We stayed at Titta Inn during the national championship game in Pasadena. Great location only about a ten minute ride/$25 cab to the rose bowl. The rooms were very clean and felt very safe. The highlight of the hotel was the management. From check in to check out the manager Rickard was friendly and helpful including calling us cabs and following up to provide up to the minute estimated wait time. I would definitely stay here again. Great great value and good location close to Pasadena!

Stayed here one night when I was visiting friends in LA. Picked it because it was cheap and had some good reviews. We ended up checking in really late (around 1am), but just as the other reviews said, the staff was REALLY friendly. It's an older building, so it's definitely nothing fancy, but it's very CLEAN and well stocked (what places actually still give you all the little toiletries??). They also have a common room which has bottled water, tea & coffee, and little snacks which are available 24/7. It is also off a major street, but we didn't hear any real street noise at night (and had the window open). Great experience, I would definitely stay here again.

not the most central location, but very cheap for what you get! and it's a short bus ride to downtown. manager very knowledgeable on the local area, the only comment is on the overpowering air freshener used to clean the place is a bit, well overpowering, but I had the same in another hotel I stayed in during my journey so don't know if it's just because I'm not so used to it, anyway I'll be happy to stay here again if I am ever in LA

We stayed for 2 nights whilst exploring north and west Los Angeles, Stanta Monica, and Pasadena. This hotel is a single large building with 3 floors and an elevator. There is parking at ground and below ground levels. No meals are served but tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit, water, and candies are always available free (and frequently topped up) in a room adjacent to the lobby. The hotel is a little distant from LA centre, but is only about 3 miles from Old Pasadena which we recommend as a must visit. Your own car is highly desireable. There are some restaurants and shops within a short walk and the area seemed pretty safe and many more restaurants within a short drive. We drove to Sunset Blvd/ Hollywood Blvd in about 25 minutes and to Santa Monica pier in about 40 minutes. The hotel has been managed since June 2013 by Rickard Johansson, a young Swedish guy who told us he has had much of the place refurbished. He met us at check-in, explained everything and advised us on travel & local details. Our room on the 2nd floor was large, very clean, with newish furniture. Everything worked. The bathroom was large and modern. The air-con was modern, effective, but a little noisy. The bed and bedding were good. When we visit LA in the future we aim to stay here again. Well recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the rear of the building to be away from any passing traffic.
