“I've found the best pizza and it's in Los Angeles, not NY!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2011

Super great pizza, possibly the best I've ever tasted! It is New York pizza here in Los Angeles.

The flavor of the pizza is unlike anything in Los Angeles. Since they started in the pizza capital of the U.S. (NYC), and came to L.A., it makes sense how delicious it is, while NY pizza has declined.

Thin crust, the cheese stands out, and their housemade sausage and meatballs make this the standout that it is. It also puts you near the studios and a very nice village called Larchmont Village.

“Overrated tripe”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2011

You may hear a lot of people, if asked, tell you this is the best pizza in Los Angeles. These people are, sadly, idiots. This is New York style thin crust pizza taken to the extremely wrong end of the spectrum. The crust is so thin there's literally no support for the toppings placed atop it. Even after folding the slice, as is the New York custom, it still droops down so you have to get under the thing and let the toppings and grease fall into your mouth. And yes, the toppings will fall off very easily, because there is not enough cheese to hold them on (either that or they're placed over the cheese intentionally). However, maybe the toppings falling off the slice is a good thing, because while not all of them are miserable or gross, "fresh" and "tasty" aren't words that come to mind either. The toppings are adequate at best, and I do not apply that praise to their sausage. They have the crappy crumbly style of sausage that even Domino's ditched years ago.

Don't believe the hype. If you came to LA for pizza, then first of all, you've come to the wrong city, and second of all, try Big Mama's and Papa's. They're a chain. And they're better than this one.

Can't miss with the local pizzeria. Just really convenient, yummy, and huge servings for what you pay for. Plus it's really close to our place - so it's a constant fave for Friday nights just staying in and catching the latest video release!
