“Great talent, good food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012 via mobile

This is a great family place! Wonderful place for a special occasion or just want an evening of fun. The waiters & waitresses are both very talented singers & great servers. The food is typical Italian with a fantastic chicken lasagna. A little pricy but worth it. The atmosphere is amazing.

“Better than I remember!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

I was pleasantly surprised when I dined at this restaurant. It was far better than the last time, where the food was sub par and the service was not very good at all. This time around, the servers were friendly and animated. The food was delicious, I'm a fan of the spagetti caruso.

“Fun venue with singing wait staff to boot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2012 via mobile

As we searched for the perfect restaurant for my 19 year old twins birthday party, I was tasked with finding a unique and fun venue. Miceli's once again did not let us down. The lively Italian restaurant is full of vintage charm and the talented wait staff is fun and oh so talented as they periodically break into song and perform a range of musical melodies that give this delightful restaurant its charm. The food is a little bland, the service a bit lacking but the ambiance is well worth the trip.

“A Fun Place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2012

This is a fun place. The food isn't the best italian in the area (neighboring Zach's was better in its prime) and can be irregular (ordered pepperoni pizza 2 weeks in a row....one week it was fresh and delicious...next week it got served slightly cold and overcooked) depending on who is your server and who is in the kitchen. But the food is decent, and on most nights doesn't disappoint.

The food is expensive for what you get (but it does come with entertainment-- the waiters all stop and sing and there is piano playing throughout the night). The bread is usually served fresh and out of the oven (though we have also been served cold bread). Pasta dishes are usually acceptable (though again inconsistent). The entertainment is fun and the piano player and singing is usually really good-- some of them have been around for a while...most of the newer folks aren't as impressive as the long termers who tend to ham up their songs to great effect. The bar tender is usually on top of his game if you don't ask for anything too complicated. The wine choices such as the chianti are interesting.

Good for families. Recommend also for folks visiting Universal instead of some of the institutional chains up there. Long waits on Fridays and Saturday typically. The premium table up on the second floor is interesting.
