“great sandwiches”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

I had the brisket sandwich and the pastrami sandwich. They were both very moist and delicious! It is almost as good as Katz Deli in NYC. The restaurant couldn't accommodate my group on 15 due to other large parties, but the manager did his best to seat us is booths close by.

“Outstanding pastrami on rye but a tad pricey.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

Have never tasted better pastrami on rye. Outstanding, and that includes the rye bread -- we sometimes forget that no sandwich is better than the bread. And validated parking nearby is a definite plus, especially as compared to Jerry's in Westwood Village, which doesn't validate parking in the outrageously priced lot nearby. Anyway, Langer's has the best pastrami hands-down, and that includes the Stage Deli and Carnegie Deli in Manhattan. No higher praise than that!

“Very Good but $$”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

Love good food and this is a landmark in LA. My nephew took us there and the food was great, the shake was good (small) but the tab for 3 for lunch was $75 and that is a little over the top for 3 pastrami on rye. Was good to see a legendary place where Presidents drop by but I wouldn't go back based on value.

“Best pastrami outside of NY”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

I've gone to a lot of delis in LA and nothing comes close to Langers Deli's pastrami. If you are craving east coast quality pastrami come here. It'serfectly seasoned and not to salty like a lot of pastrami in LA.
The decor of this place is right out of the 60s. The area isn't the greatest though but worth the pastrami.

“Best Pastrami on the West Coast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

Cut to the chase and just go to the best. Sure, there are the Canter's and the Izzy's and the Jerry's, but let's face it, this is it. Location kind of sucks, but that annoyance melts away when you eat their pastrami on rye. Only other places that come close? Katz's in New York and Moishe's in Montreal. Enjoy. It's worth it.
