“Tasty Pastrami but rather expensive!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012 via mobile

I ordered the Pastrami French Dip Au Jus. Average size but tasty. Not sure if it was really worth the value at almost $14.00. Area was very noisy, cluttered & hard to park. Service was good and our take out order was fast. But, I don't think I'd sit in traffic just to go to this place again. Hours are only until 4pm.

“Traditional LA spot...great deli”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

Langer's is always a hit! Fast moving lines at lunchtime on a Friday, but organized and seated quickly. Waiters and Waitresses know their stuff...you can order just about anything and any combo possible! There is a reason why they are still in business and going strong. Tons of food, friendly, and free parking! Get the coleslaw ON your sandwich! Love the rye bread here...

“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

What's more to say - this place has a massive selection, and excellent pastrami and meat sandwiches. I had the eternally famous "No. 19", and it didn't disappoint.

Excellent, friendly place. Worth a special trip or detour if you're in LA. We drove a good 25 mins from Hollywood to check it out and it didn't disappoint.

“GREAT DELI”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

After standing in line outside we were let in to the booth. The waiter greeted us, took our drink order and gave us some recommendations.

I ordered the #19 (Pastrami and ColeSlaw) - hold the russian dressing. It was the best pastrami I have ever eaten.

The food was so good and the serviec was great, we ended up making a second trip for lunch. The homemade cream soda and french fries were the encore but they, too, were delicious.

“Unbelievably awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

This establishment has some of the best pastrami we have ever had. The prices are reasonable and the serving size was fine. Some places use narrow bread and pile the pastrami high, while Langers uses larger slices of crusty warm rye bread and the sandwich is a little flatter. Get there early or be prepared to stand outside in line. Also, if it is just two of you, the small two top booths are a bit hard to get in and out of. If you are a pastrami maven, then the only thing to drink is Langer's own home made cream soda. Unlimitted refills and it is amazing. I also had the cabbage soup and it was good, but not great. It had no beef chunks and was cabbage in a tomato broth. Lucky are those who live close by. I travelled 3,000 miles to get there. (If you are having a busniess meeting, bear in mind that those at the adjacent tables can listen to everything you say. Two lawyers were talking about their cases, and it bothered me to the extent their clients had no privacy and I was privy to all).
