This used to be the premier downtown restaurant when Michael Cimarusti used to run the kitchen. We've been back more than five times since he left and it just keeps getting worse. Left the restaurant tonight after hosting close friends and I was almost embarrassed. Started with our salads, which were no better than average. The servers couldn't figure who ordered what twice while delivering. They even delivered the dinners without clearing any of the salad plates, very unprofessional. They were serving wine by the glass measured by micro-calipers, as if it was the last wine left on earth! For $16 a glass, can't we get some slack here? The wahoo (ono) that my wife had was way undercooked, placed in a stew with undercooked potatoes and veggies! Half raw wahoo stew? Amazingly bad. How do you ruin ono? I had the swordfish, undercooked, definitely came from a big fish, chewy, with the stinky skin still on it! You guys don't have knives in the kitchen? No sauce, seasoning or any care in preparation placed on a bed of I'm not sure what it was, maybe mushrooms, maybe prunes. Very disappointing. Probably the worst swordfish i've ever had, couldn't finish it. Our friends ate their salmon and cod, however, no comments from them at all, so I was afraid to ask. Although the deserts were excellent, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who knows good seafood. Although the decor and ambience is brilliant, it can't compensate for sloppy servers and a bad chef. Don't trust the other reviews, this place is totally overrated and not worth your hard earned money, because on top of all that, it's not inexpensive! We're both sorry it's not what it used to be.
