“Good Value...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

Your typical Argentinian grill....lots of different chicken or beef dishes.

Very fair prices, very big portions. Currently expanding the restaurant...should be nicer. Good
outdoor tables along Ventura Blvd. If you are looking for a basic meal and a very fair price...this is the place.

“Quality and quantity seems to be going down”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2009

I've been going to Lala's for years. I usually get the entrana but since I was really hungry and knowing that they reduced the size of their steak portions, I ordered the biggest steak they have, well done. The steak was about as big as a big pork chop, nothing special and it was dry and tasteless. I complained about the size and one of the servers brought out the 2 different sizes raw in air tight bags which made me realize how low budget they are, they don't even have fresh meat and they don't cut it themselves, even the waitress admitted they have reduced the portions, and increased the prices, they gave me a free crappy flan desert, probably a powder mix to apologize for the crappy steak. Even my fries although warm seemed like they had been under a heat lamp, a little stale as was the bread!!! The place was really busy and it was a Monday night, this place is good I hope this was a fluke!!
