Furaibo is a Japanese restaurant specializing in Yakitori - small skewers of grilled meats. Sort of like Shish Kebab but smaller and just one item type per skewer..
There is no real decor here, it's not fancy at all, rather a bit cramped. The menu lists dozens of dishes with most prices between $2 and $6, so you typically order a few dishes per person.
Service was really, really fast. And these guys know how to fry. If you look at a Chicken McNugget, it's mostly fried breading. Furaibo can take a piece half that size and fry it with a really light thin coating so that you get friend meat, not fried bread crumbs. The menu has many esoteric items, lots of seafood, and many traditional Japanese dishes.
Great place for students who appreciate delicious food on a budget. Not a good place to propose marriage.
