“A nice spot for lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

I've been to this restaurant on several occasions for dinner or lunch. The food is good and I've not had a bad meal. There is nothing particularly memorable about the meals. The service is consistently good. Business meetings are difficult in the booth setting.

“Favorite lunch place in LA!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

Everytime I go to LA this is my favorite lunch spot! I eat here at least every other day, and the days I don't eat here I'm always upset I didn't chose chin chin again! Get their Chinese chicken salad, pot stickers and din some! :) you will love it all!

“Nice neighborhood spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2012

My husband and I ordered:

hot sake - nothing to complain about
velvet corn soup - for 7.95, it is HUGE. try to order it to share as an app. for maybe 3-4 people. but even if it was just him and me again, i'd still order it. i hope they offer a "small" size soon b/c it was tasty!
vietnamese shrimp rolls - fresh, delicious, a bit too cold, but good. i love when basil or mint shows up in these. the peanut dipping sauce is also different. i normally never use it, but their version of it was very good.
Mushu chicken - i ordered this "easy on the salt" and it came out perfect.
Mandarin style kung pao chicken - my husband had no idea what mandarin style would be. the helpful waiter clued us in a bit and we're glad we tried it. he really liked this dish.

So the food has improved, so has the cleanliness factor. They're very open to any requests you have pertaining to your dish. The most remarkable difference was service. They were prompt, courteous and always on top of things. What's nice is that they also had a comedy show that started at 7 for those interested in entertainment along with dining.

I'm happy to add Chin Chin back to my list of restaurants to go to when I don't feel like driving anywhere.

“Average Chinese....is there any other kind?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2012

I like Chin Chin's for what it is a nice clean Chinese restaurant with basic Chinese food. I love the Dim Sum and then Some, not on the menu anymore, but you can still order it.
