“Great breakfast spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Had a breakfast meeting at The Ivy while in LA for business and it's a lovely little place and with its decor and atmosphere, it's something you wouldn't expect to find just off Melrose. Their Huevos Rancheros and smoothies are brilliant and even though I didn't try more, the rest of the menu looked equally good.

We were there on early on a week day and it wasn't too crowded but apparently it get very busy on the weekend.

“For a celebrity hub, not bad for us commoners”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

Okay, Sharon Stone was at the next table and the Paparazzi -- obviously paid for by Ms. Stone's publicist -- made this lunch experience a three-ring circus. But I hafta say: the food's pretty good and priced fairly. And you know, Sharon Stone was sitting next to us.

“If ur not an A lister ur a nobody”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

I have wanted to eat in the ivy for so long and seen as it was my birthday myself husband mum and son decided to have dinner there when we arrived we were quickly seated in the quiet area where there were no other diners to sit amongst therefor there was no real atmosphere (just aswell i was sitting with ace people) we dressed well but were looked down upon by the waiter who didn't crack one smile during our whole time in the restaurant, when we asked his advice on 3 different bottles of reasonably priced bottles of wine he kept just trying to push us into buying the more expensive ones that we weren't interested in lol our food was nice but nothing to write home about and WAAAY over priced the fact that the waiter seemed unhappy with his 20./' tip ontop of an expensive bill says it all

Oh and when we got home my husband and I had to eat a bag of Cheetos while my mum tucked into an organic tomato sandwich hmmmmmm

“Once in a lifetime - not!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

You know you've arrived when you are offered a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival. Everything is perfect from there on in. Service, food, fresh flowers everywhere, almost indescribable ambience... what more could one wish for? . A bit pricey but who cares.... worth every penny! A celeb favorite though we didn't see any! Highly recommend -- we are going back!
