Seriously. Half of the rooms are rented out to people that are released from prison and have no where else to go. Never had problems with them though. Seems as if they are trying hard not to get into trouble. Met 1 guy that just got out for assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer. Staff VERY friendly. Hotel gets a 1 star. Pretty convenient if you need a CHEAP place to stay. Kitchenette, laundry on site.

(closes beaches cabrillo beach/point fermin north/ south Long beach pike/ or North Shore/Seal Beach. Park with view area walking distance good for bicycling, skateboarding, meditating, sunning, skating. The Ext, is 1800's simple, the lobby looks 1800 and simple, (Friday, Sat, Sunday) Continental Breakfast, but remember the prices are fantastic so you have money for breakfast at Trumps. The history is vast, this hotel was establish predating the oil rush in los angeles and water surrounded this very hotel, so that when you enter it's different to find that you would be standing years ago in water, they have photos to prove it...
