I just can't believe we are all talking about the same hotel. Far from being the horrible place some previous users depicted, I found the Ritz Milner great: the location is just fine (just behind Figueroa St, 2 blocks from the Satple Center, 3 blocks from the convention Center, in the hearth of L.A business district) , the staff allright and eager to help you, and the room we got (obviously recently refurnished) was a pleasant surprise, especially after having read some appaling comments!
The complementary breakfast (in-house, not anymore at Denys as some first reviews said) is basic, on a -eat-as-much-as-you-like basis. What else? We got our suite for $130 a night during a peak, big meeting period at the C.C. , whereas all aother hotels within a walking distance from the show were at, at the very least, $200.
The only downside is that they charge you $2.00/person at the front desk to book a Super Shuttle pick up (that means $8 if you were a family of 4!), which is really mean to my opinion. Apart from that, I definitely will stay again at the Riz Milner, since it proved to be an excellent value for money!
