The phenomenon of tasty morsels emanating from food trucks has given way to some of these trucks expanding into brick and mortar locations. Komodo is one of these, known for its tasty food off their truck. I can honestly say that this meal (lunch) was one of the best I have had in Los Angeles. Using a melange of Indonesian, Malaysian, Mexican, and other eclectic ingredients, this small restaurant has created a major taste sensation. We absolutely loved the fresh ingredients, great salads, brilliant sweet potato fries, and meatballs. If you are looking for Wedgewood china or waiters hovering over your shoulder, this place may not be for you. However, if you are looking for great food at great prices, Komodo might just be the place for you.
