“Excellent Stay ! Kids loved it.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

We stayed there in April with 2 kids. We originally were looking for something a little more off center, but this seemed like a good family compromise in L.A. It turned out to be great. The kids loved the pool. We were able to go to Jimmy Kimmel and the Parking lot, we drove around the hills and mulholland, we had dinner a few times on franklin & tamarind which is where you should go have dinner (rather the Highland & vine area), went to little tokyo and the fashion district, and met some hip hop stars in the hotel elevator, and shop at the H&V mall, and did Topanga Canyon/Malibu. Your mileage may vary.

The rooms were great, for 2 adults, 2 kids (10th floor). We did not eat at all in the hotel. We used the $42 a day valet parking. The valets were great, it is definitely not a cheap parking option, and you probably can find better (starting with the $15 a day at the mall, w/o in&out privileges). Of course, this is a not a boutique hotel, but it worked.

The only actual downside is that , if you are looking for a easy access to the ocean, this clearly is not it, e.g. it's a great access for downtown LA/Hills/Hollywood, but anything west of 405 will take you 1 1/2 hour to get to.

We stayed as a couple in the Loews Hollywood hotel for 5 nights , check in was very simple and smooth the room we had was on the 14th floor and looked at the famous Hollywood sign which was always a pleasure to wake up to the beds were very comfortable and the showers and wc were also good.

We used the concierge and they too were helpful and we also used the valet parking which was pretty expensive but hassle free $42 a day.

The location of this hotel is the best its right in the heart of everything Hollywood and a walking distance from all the stars on the floor and shops hardrock cafe and other attractions.

I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be a short walk from the hollywood walk of fame area.

We also used the room service which again we thort with the taxes and gratuitys worked out quite expensive and the food quality was average .

Everyone at the hotel used manners and were very friendly. The Free WIFI was also very good.

Room Tip: hollywood facing room is a must

From the time we checked n, the service was superb, and plenty of smiles always. Our room was quite nice, but the best was when we went sightseeing. The hotel is almost directly on Hollywood Blvd, close to the Chinese Theatre where the Hop On Hop Off bus commences. Lots to do and see from that point too, with cafes and restaurants in abundance.
The staff of the hotel that serve breakfast were lovely to us too. Smiles and manners galore with just the correct amount of friendliness.
We would highly recommend Leows Hollywood Hotel to other travellers.

Two friends and I spent two evenings at this hotel. The convenience of the location couldn't have been more excellent. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The view was perfect. We could see out over Hollywood. Would highly recommend this hotel if you're in Hollywood!

Room Tip: If you can get a view to the south, you'll see Hollywood pretty clear.

Stayed for three nights and time just flew by. Great location for the Walk of Fame and Chinese Theatre - lovely hotel with friendly staff and good varied restaurants nearby.

Be sure to visit the Chinese theatre and do the tour - just $10 to learn the history of the place and see some great artefacts.
