I stayed here for 1 night & found the experience unpleasant over all. I usually stay Westin & there're stores & restaurants are in the walking distance, but Raddison is very far to any of these. I walked 25 mins to buy a bottle of Perrier water at the nearest gas station & walk back to the hotel that killed my feet. As I got back from a long walk, entered the lobby and the concierge greeted me friendly, so I told him it's not convenient for a shopping for some drink. He told me to have a drink in their sky lounge with a view that's worth watching, so I went straight to the lounge which was totally empty at the time (around 5pm). As I enetered the sky lounge the waiters are nicely greeted me, had a small talk and ordered a drink. The view of the LAX was really nice. :) It could look prettier at night.
Anyhows, as I finished my drink, the waiter asked me if I'm ready to order a food. I was there for a drink so asked him a check, then he suddenly gave me a very cold look, goes back to the kitchen entrance are where there were other co-workers and told them I was there just for the drink. They should change the name to Sky restaurant, then any customer will be reluctant to go just for the drinks. This case, I wouldn't have been there w/o the friendly concierge suggested me to check it out.
The room is a typical 3 star hotel room with so-so bed comfort.
the window has a doulbe shield, and the view was nice with the colorful light objects.
The next day was my departure, and since the hotel is literally located right next to the airport, I decided to use their shuttle bus service. I was waited about 25 mins in the morning for the shuttle bus that never arrives. I complained about it at the front desk, but all they say was to wait, so I just used a car service that waiting at the hotel vallet parking. It was $15 what a rip off!!!
