Elan is in a great central location next to the Beverly Center and 5 minutes from West Hollywood and 15 mins to LACMA/Fairfax Av. I arrived early and got my preferred room on the quiet courtyard at about 10AM. Staff are courteous and helpful. Rooms are very nice, not large but not too cramped either. Breakfast, wine in the evening, and wifi are included. Got a parking package for only $10 more per night to park, regular $24. Definitely would stay again.

A great recommendation for our stay in LA. The smallish boutique hotel has it all: location,service,safe area, convenient to all the coolest places, and comfort- all at a decent price given the area. A lovely complimentary continental breakfast and wine and cheese hour is offered. Very helpful staff. Secure parking for a not unreasonable price with easy coming and goings. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area. I will definitely be a repeat guest.

I stayed here several times and always like it. The hotel is small and quiet. There is a continental breakfast and wine and cheese. Staff is very helpful. Rooms a clean and modern. One caution parking is expensive but valet is very speedy.

What a great find! This small boutique hotel has it all. Great location, great service, great room, great shower (very important), comfortable bed, safe area, free continental breakfast (delicious), very competitive price. I almost don't want to tell all the good features about Élan because it will become very busy and then I'll have a hard time getting a room next time in in LA, but isn't that what Trip Advisor is all about? Share the good, bad and ugly. Well, this is the good.
