I would not stay there again. We only wanted a quick sleep while on our travels, so I booked this place knowing that it will be no-frills – but it was very dated and extremely basic, it felt rather boy-scoutish. The towels were the size of a post stamp, blankets on the beds looked like something from Alcatraz (I might be biased since we visited Alcatraz the day before), and the whole place looked extremely old, to the extend where it doesn’t feel clean (even if I think the sheets etc were actually clean) – carpets, furniture and everything else were really old and worn down.
It wasn’t particularly cheap either, I’m sure there must be other places in the proximity that provide a better experience.
Very good location for Universal Studios though.
