Yes! Location cant be beat. Floor to ceiling glass windows with amazing views of what you came here to see...traffic, expensive cars, million dollar homes nestled in dried up hills and the Hollywood sign as a back drop. Oh and your occasional bum dressed as spiderman or Elvis on Hollywood Blvd. Beds are comfortable and space is adequate. Check in was fast and easy and the valet attendants were very helpful. The suggested I self park for $10 versus the $30something for valet. It seems this Hotel has not been renovated since its opening, while not bad, it is falling behind on decor. Furnishings and decor do not meet up with its cool location. The lobby also feels crowded and a bit dated. The rooms are plain and and have a 90's feel to them and furnishings although in tact, do look worn. This Hotel should compete with the brand new W Hotel down the street and get a face lift. Over all i thought it was Very Good.

Of all the Marriott brands, I like Renaissance the most. This one is no exception.

Our room was perfect and had 2 king sized beds. We faced the Hollywood sign on the 7th floor, which was a perfect view. I am not sure what a higher floor could give you, though.

Staff was awesome. I mentioned it was my daughters birthday and they surprised us with cake, snacks, and Evian water. I travel every week and have never had the service I received here.

Location is the big plus, however. Everything is right there, including Kodak Theater. Also, they have 6 elevators that were fast. Best elevator system I have seen for this size hotel.

The only negatve was the doormen do not scrutinize cabs for you. They will throw you into any cab. That means I endured cabs with no A/C, did not take credit card, got lost on easy destinations, and were very dirty. Doormen should filter out the crap cabbies! Cabs seemed high priced as well, but that may be a fixed rate.

No shuttle service is available. It would be an added bonus if they could do some local shuttles.

Live piano and songs was much appreciated!

This is a great place to stay if you want to be in the heart of Hollywood. It is attatched to a shopping mall and the Kodak theater. Lots to do and places to eat. The pool is heated so the kids could swim. Our room looked right at the Hollywood sign. Service was great!

Service was good rooms clean but very pricy. The staff was helpful but cab service to area locations is also pricy. Make sure to ask for a room with a view of the Hollywood sign.
