“So delicious and so loud!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012 via mobile

Enjoyed a delicious dinner at Botegga Louie with family and out of town visitor. Pasta dishes are tasty, generous and well priced. Portobello fries are out of this world. Service was excellent, but conversation was only possible with person right next to me.we would return again, but would choose a less popular hour and request a side table.

“post theatre dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Perfect for early dinner after a matinee at the LA Music Center. We walked down the hill and had a wonderful meal.Loved the grilled artichoke appetizer, the mushroom fries, beautifully plated entrees, and the macaroon treats at the lovely bakery store enclosed in restaurant. The vibe is light and airy and wonderful for people watching.Expect ambiance that is high energy (translation: noisy) but lots of fun.

“Wonderful Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

My husband and I enjoyed the entire dining experience last night. the food reminded us of our recent trip to Europe, the service was incredible, the modern brasserie type setting was outstanding. We started with the shared caeesar salad-the perfect portion size withg great flavor. The duck and prosciutto crostini was fabulouts, I wanted another one! We then had the bolognase pasta- we split it again and also shared the porkchop. It melted in my mouth. The fresh applesauce was also fantastic. Oh, and the desserts were beyond fantastic, chocolate souffle and creme brulee, to.die.for.

Be warned- it's a little loud, but it was the perfect atmosphere for a fun date night out. Minimalist on the decor, but it fits it perfectly.

“Yum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

This place is amazing. There is a bakery in the front with treats that look to perfect to be real and taste as good as they look. The restaurant is always busy, and you cannot make reservations, you must just show up. They always give me a 25-30 minute estimate on time, but we are usually seated within 15 minutes. Everything on the menu I have had to date is excellent. The food is unique and great quality ingredients. The restaurant is fairly loud, and crowded if that is going to bother you, usually it bother me, but I always ignore for the food. I have always had at least a good waiter, but usually a great one. I really recommend this place at least for the bakery if you are ever in LA. The dress is casual, it is open pretty late, and on the weekends they have brunch.
