Interesting (but short) menu. Had recommendations from our excellent waiter Nick. He was clear with descriptions, steered us in the right directions and we ended up trying so many great small plates. This is truly a small plate venue, so they did stretch a few dishes for us to serve 5. Service (contrary to other reviews) was outstanding and attentive. We arrived a good hour prior to our reservation (you never know so. Cal traffic) They seated us promptly as it does not get busy until later in the evening it seems. Menu changes seasonally, so we would like to go back to see what is new. Kaya toast sounds strange, but one of the best things we had. Same with deconstructed Chicken and Waffles. You have to love food and adventure to truly enjoy this restaurant. We asked to say hi to Susan and she came right over. What a treat
