“Not your ordinary LA Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch and immediately felt like we had walked into a restaurant like no other. There was beautiful mahogany wood through out and the front part of the restaurant had low walls with huge curtains draped back from the windows which gave it a very airy feeling. The food was very good with very good portions and reasonably priced. My daughter had the Mushroom & Truffle Flatbread (which was loaded with mushrooms, goat cheese) and I had the Calamari with sweet chili-garlic sauce (by far the best I have ever eaten). Our waiter couldn't have been nicer, his recommendations were great and was very attentive.

A lovely little bar at "the grove" with beautiful "attractions", good drinks, nice happy hour snacks....what more could one ask for?

“Worth going to”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

I went with a friend for drinks and dinner and loved the atmosphere, inside or outside. Everything was great and the service was nice and friendly. The half chicken was amazing.

“Turned out better than it started.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

My husband made reservations online, and he was contacted by email twice and called to confirm our reservation. When we arrived approximately 15 minutes early ( we were out shopping), the hosted said our reservation wasn't for another hour. We said we would wait at the bar. We weren't treated great until I showed her the email confirmation...then they were apologetic. Since we were waiting we asked for a booth, and we got it. Our waiter was ok, but apparently the guys next to us were famous, because the waiter was fawning over them, while we were being rushed. Our appetizer and entree came out itching two minutes of each other. We were disappointed, because we were so excited to have a romantic dinner out! BEST PART...BARTENDER WAS INCREDIBLE, AND SO APOLOGETIC.

“Great for drinks before a show of after a shop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

Good service and great drinks. I've never had a full meal here, but I've had lots of great appetizers and some good cocktails. It's a great place to kick back after a shop.
