This restaurant looks very inviting from the street, has an attractive name, and has a nice airy veranda. But that's about all that can recommend it. I enjoyed the food, but felt it was over-priced and slow to arrive. (be sure to look at your bill carefully - we were overcharged for one breakfast item). Also, be aware that in tiny print on the menu, you will read that this restaurant adds a 15% "service fee" (for what?) to the bill and they charge tax on that service fee (which is illegal in California).
This restaurant has no problem with allowing customers to smoke - in fact several tables had packs of cigarettes openly displayed and people were lighting up. A man arrived at a table next to ours and asked the wait staff for an ashtray. When we asked that the manager address this, she apologized to the smoker. He moved to the back of the veranda and sat with another smoker there - smoking. Another man on our left was asked to stop smoking and he simply held his cigarette under the table. While management of this restaurant may not agree with the law, some customers do expect them to obey it - most especially since they have "No Smoking" signs posted on the restaurant walls.
