“Great food, but...........”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

Aroma Bakery Cafe is a cool restaurant/bakery on Sunset blvd. The menu is 32 pages long!!! There are so many items to choose from, it;s amazing. We went there for a dinner party and everyone ordered from a variety of food. From Chicken to fish to pasta, everything was delicious. The bakery menu is amazing with a huge variety of desserts to choose from. From Baklavas to cakes, the assortment is out of this world. Now for the buts..... The prices are a little high for many of the items. An Ahi sandwich is $20.00 a little pricey. Delicious but pricey. The seating is very nice with outdoor seating, but smoking is ALLOWED. It's disgusting to smell cigarette smoke while your eating a delicious meal. Even though the smoking section is separate, you can still smell it, very strong! Parking is valet only unless you can find a spot on the street, if you do, bring plenty of change for the meter. Service is fast, efficient and friendly! Had a great time with family and friends but hated the smoking!

“Awful service..good food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012 via mobile

We went there for a late breakfast and were seated right away. Do not get Miriam as your waitress! She forgot us, didn't bring what we requested...had to have another waitress help us. When we asked for the bill she was too busy talking to give it to us. Three other employees, including the manager had to tell her to get the bill for us. Then when the bill came, it already had a 15% gratuity on before the taxes! Service sucked but thank goodness the food was good.

“A taste of the Middle East”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2012

This place is great - very busy, especially Fri/Sat nights late. An endless menu, Arabic, Italian, American, Indian, just about anything you can imagine. The staff is overworked and the owner charges a 15% "Gratuity", which instead of being given to the waiters is actually used to pay their salaries (that shouldn't be legal, should it?), but the food is great, portions are huge and the clientele is mostly young 20-30s. Worth a visit.

“Good Coffee; good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

Wow - a place where you sit down and someone comes right up to your table! This appears to be a place to see and be seen for the local Israeli crowd, and the eye candy is pretty good. The apple roll, a misnomer because it's puff pastry, is fantastic for breakfast or dessert. Coffee could be a little stronger, but overall an enjoyable place.
