Unfortunately our meal at Gjelina's was our first of our 2 week holiday in the US and it set the benchmark so high that nothing else topped it! We were fortunate to stop by at about 4.30pm to eat as we were jet lagged, otherwise it would have been a considerable wait for a table any later. The staff were well informed, helpful and charming. The wood fired pizzas were delicious and I love the way the bring the wild oregano, chilli and parmesan for you to dress your own pizza with. However the stars of the meal were the small plates of kale salad (best ever!!), okra with olives and tomato and charcuterie platter. An interesting wine list and a great vibe. Anytime we are back in LA this will be my first stop.
