“Great deal in a Great location.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2011

We stayed at the Beverly Inn Motel for 5 nights and had a great stay - the location is amazing as it's pretty much central within LA. Lots of interesting things are nearby: Farmer's Market, The Grove shopping area, LACMA, and the surrounding Fairfax District with lots of interior design shops and good vintage clothes shops. There's also buses which take you to Los Feliz and Silver Lake from two blocks north which is really handy.
All of the staff are really friendly, and went out of their way to be kind and help out with taxi's etc.
I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, and have also recommended it to friends of ours as a great place to stay.
I will always look to the Beverly Inn first.

This is one of the worse motels that I have ever stayed at. I got locked in the bathroom because the handle was broken, there seemed to be bugs in the bed the mattress was very bad, It smelled, and there was a building with NO VIEW except a wall. They say they offer Coffee but the doors are locked to the office and there was none. the people was not nice just a very bad experience all together. Stay away from this place......No parking except in very small places.

Room Tip: Don't stay here!

Choose this hotel only if youre on a budget and prefer its proximity to locations. For the price dont expect a sparkling luxury room, it's an older place but the rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable, and bathrooms are functioning with decent water pressure. The hosts are a nice friendly family that do their best to be helpful.

My only note of concern is that all rooms on the two floors face inward to the center pool courtyard, so all noise echoes into rooms. I was awaken on more than one occasion by other guests hanging out in the courtyard in the afternoon or returning to their room at 3am. Probably a pair of earplugs is a simple solution for that issue.

If I visit the area again, I would definitely consider returning to the Beverly Inn.

The pictures look so perfect that my bf was fooled by pictures. When we entered the hotel, i see the hotel all worn out and dirty. They did a lit touch up here and there, but it doesn't help how the building was tilt and crappy. THEY REALLY NEED TO TEAR THAT DOWN and build everything from start. The room was tiny everything was old expect bathroom. They probably remodel bathroom a few months ago. But they did not change the old window. So I change my mind and persuade my bf not to stay the hotel and get all of our money back from complaining :D i think u pay $80 for crappy room??? I rather drive 30 mins far from Beverly Hill and stay at Motel 8 or Hotel Inn for like $69.

Room Tip: THERE IS NO GOOD ROOM@_@ but i can show u where crappy room we booked for.

YUCK! Not only is this place one of the most dated motels I've ever been in, the pool is virtually unusable, it's noisy, the internet is VERY slow, and, if you want ice, you have to buy it from a vending machine.

Room Tip: Avoid the rooms facing the street - I had to move.

We booked this hotel due to the location...and that is basically the only thing going for it. The neighbourhood is safe ...and convenient to The Grove and Farmers Market.

Our room was dark and seedy...a small window that had a lovely view to a brick wall and back alley...and could hear everything happening in the room nextdoor.

Luckily we only stayed for a couple of nights so we could see the sights of that end of Hollywood...and as soon as morning came...bags were packed and we were out of there. Seeya - bye!

Won't be choosing to stay here again...lesson learnt.

We were going to the Price is Right and wanted to stay close to CBS. We saw the price of this hotel and booked thinking, "It can't be that bad." We were wrong. The room was not equipped for the four of us. It had two towels and a few wash rags. We called for more and were greeted unpleasantly by the front desk woman who was visibly irritated that we had asked for towels. That was just the beginning. Our sink had a rusty razor blade stuck in the drain. The towels that we recieved had hair on them from the previous users, and to top it all off, I woke up with a cockroach above my head in the morning. Needless to say we didn't stay more than one night. We had planned to stay 2 nights. The front desk woman did refund our second night.
