Elaine seems like a perfectly wonderful person, but her Bed and Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. My main complaint is that it is dirty and cluttered. The carpets were filthy and the towels were worn with dog hair on them. The small frig in the room had old opened beverages and the bathroom was not properly stocked. Breakfast consisted of stale pastry and make your own coffee. We chose to pass on breakfast, as the kitchen was dirty and cluttered as well. On the positive side, the room was large, the bed was comfortable, and it is close to Hollywood. I will never stay there again and would advise others against it. If you don't like large dogs or are allergic to cats, you should also stay away. If you don't mind the animals, the dirt, the clutter, and no breakfast, then Elaine's offers a fairly cheap ($65 - 85)place to stay in Hollywood.
