On a recent trip to LA, we decided to stay at the Secret Garden. Our host Raymond was very gracious and gave us lots of ideas on what to during our stay in LA. Although Raymond was great, the place itself is in need of a little fix me up. It reminded me of being in my Grandmother's house, lots of nicknacks, the rooms were in need of a new paint job, the garden needed to be tended etc. When it came to breakfast, there was no choice...you eat what is placed in front of you. It would have been nice if there was a breakfast choice or even some muffins or something put out if you did not want the hot meal.
When you are paying $125 (US) a night a breakfast choice would have been nice. Also, if you are allergic to animals this is not the place to stay, as there are 3 cats in the house.
