If you're looking for celebrities while on your Hollywood vactaion, Barfly may be the place to start. But don't grab your leather pants just yet. If you don't know somebody who knows somebody, you might as well go home. That is, unless, you like standing in the street on a Saturday night. If nothing else, you can catch a glimpse of a somebody going in or coming out. Once you're in, it's really just like any other dance club, with a DJ spinning dance and hip-hop, barely enough dancing room to pop, and go-go girls leaving little to the imagination. Minus the celebs, this place would just be another night on the town.

The dim lit atmosphere is actually pretty nice and seductive...however, the crowd's dim lit character is a different story, a bunch of good looking or aspiring good looking people squished together between outlining tables and an island set bar, sipping on their cosmopolitans and eyeing one another, trying to figure the whos who of the evening. Typical for a sunset strip excursion.

The only way in on a Saturday Night... Be On The List. Once inside you get the usual crowd of LA wannabe's and mean security. The atmosphere is good though. Not too luod so you can hear yourself think. Drinks are expensive, but what is new in LA? It is a great place to meet friends before 9:00 pm then head off somewhere. Overall, make the trip once, if you like it, go with it. If not do your thang somewhere else.
