“Space Shuttle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

We visited the science center to see the Space Shuttle Endeavor in it's new home. The shuttle, of course, is spectacular and our party enjoyed the layout of the displays. We were excited to see that plans are in the works to make the interior of the shuttle visible (right now you can only see the outside and walk underneath although there are displays depicting the inside) and look forward to coming back.
Entrance to the exhibit is free, but since only a certain number of people are let in at a time, it is well worth the $2 per person to make reservations ahead for a time slot. We just went online and printed out our resesrvations. Also, plan to pay for parking.

“Lots of fun activities for 8 year old grandson”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

Entrance to the center is free but you will end of spending money for their very good IMAX films and a few pay activities that kids want to do. Parking is $10.00. We enjoyed watching our grandson indulge in the activities. We really liked the 3D movies. Seeing the Endeavour was great for all of us.

“Very interesting, lots of walking!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

Awesome museum especially with kids! Parking is the only major expense. Very crowded on a weekday during winter break, needed pre regestration to see Endeavor for busy times so skipped for another visit. Awesome space artifacts though! Even a real moon rock, and lifesize prototype Has of Mars rover! Lots of hands on activities. If walking bothers you, make a two day trip out of it! Has IMAX theater with great looking shows but of course they charge for that. Reasonable though. Really enjoyed it despite the crowds at winter break!

“Great Outing for all ages”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

You will have a great WOW moment when you see Space Shuttle Endeavor and its huge engines. You will see the difference between control centers of Launching Saturn V and Launching Shuttle (if you have visited Houston space center). It makes you laugh when you come across the Space Potty and listen to the commentary. Very educative for all ages

“Such a great facility for free!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

Kids spent two days here - could not believe this was free other than the $10 parking fee. Well worth a visit. The kid in me enjoyed seeing the space shuttle :-)
