“Worth the visit to see Space Shuttle Endeavour alone!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

Highly recommend a visit to view Endeavour! We combined a trip to the Natural History Museum and only had time to view the space shuttle and capsules at the science center. We will return to tour the rest of this exhibits at the science center. We visited on a Sunday and had limited time, but were able to end our day in this area with a 5:30 IMAX showing of Blue Planet. Parking and the History museum are a very easy walk away. Do not miss these wonderful treasures when in L.A.!

“Great Family Fun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

We had a blast! This museum is extremely great for kids or the kid at heart. It features highly interactive self guided tours, a discovery zone for children under 7 and th the recent Endeavour Space Shuttle exhibition. The access fees are small, but if you wish to truly enjoy the experience walk with extra cash to view the show in the Imax theatre or to partake in the simulators. If you need a grab to eat, there are a few restaurants in the dining hall. It's best to go in the week when its less crowded as you may experience long wait times for rides.

The shuttle Endeavor is housed at the museum and a special close up tour. There are also IMAX 3D programs.

“A must see!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

We went to the museum just to see the Endeavour, so I can only comment on that. It was so wonderfully displayed in its own hanger and it is breathtaking!! Before you enter the hanger, there is a theater playing a short movie about the Endeavour's arrival "home"in LA. It was so amazing to see this massive space ship being towed through the streets of LA and the thousands of people who came out to see history in the making! Don't think twice!! Go see this!

“Space shuttle Endeavor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

This exhibit is a must see if you happen to be in the vicinity of Los Angeles, CA. You get to see the just retired 20 year-old shuttle up close and they have displayed several exhibits of space shuttle components such as the the lab space, galley, "gotta go potty breaks in space" toilet, the actual tires that has stress marks on the rubber caused during landing, etc. A realistic model of the mission control center is an absolute treat. Layout is in its infancy but well laid out. Will keep you and the kids (>8 years) busy for at least 2 hours. There are show times and reserve in advance if possible.
