This hotel isn't right on the tourist strip, but it is an easy walk, within a few minutes to the hustle and bustle of Hollywood near the Chinese theater. Omar at the front desk is great, very helpful and friendly. The reviews that are on here are spot on. The area is friendly, does not seem dangerous and is close to quite a few things to keep you occupied. There are more than enough restaurants to choose from in every flavor and nationality, with 5-10 minutes of the tourist traps, double decker bus tours, etc. Rooms are very spacious, clean and filled with modern amenities. Bathroom is fair size, adequately supplied. I had a suite room with a couch which came with a mini fridge, microwave and sink which was nice for late night snacks. This hotel would be great for families with kids as it gets you off of the strip but close enough not to be a problem. Also has a little dining table in the room which is nice to eat at if you eat in the room. I was on the 4th floor as I am a platinum member but looked at the other floors and they seemed just as nice. Not a bad hotel and just as close as Loew's Hotel so save the extra money for trip extras.
