I have stayed at this hotel a few times, and normally have average or sub-par service. BUT, I am glad they have all new people working the front desk. Omar is a super nice guy, and really good at running the front desk. He makes people feel right at home. As far as the hotel itself, I don't really agree on paying $22 a night for parking (valet only), so that means it will cost you more with tips. Also, there is a sign in the bathroom if you use any of the towels to remove make-up or clean your shoes, there can be up to a $35 charge. Really? I was in hotel management and know what hotels pay for towels, and I can tell you, it is about $2 a towel. Sounds really petty to me. It is an oddly laid out hotel, if you are on floors 6, 7 or 8 - you will need to go to the 5th floor, make two turns and go up another elevator. Strange

We'd like to add to the positive reviews regarding this Hotel. The rooms were extremely clean, the staff were very friendly and the location is perfect. It's walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard and the Hollywood Bowl.

The Metro Train Station is also close by and you are only one stop away from Universal studios and City Walk by train. We also took the train out to USC to see The Endeavour Space Shuttle.

It's also only a short walk down to Santa Monica Boulevard and the bus down to Santa Monica Pier then a stroll up to Venice Beach.

The breakfast each morning was also quite acceptable. The road noise was not really noticeable and it wasn't an issue. We are travelers with two teenage children. We'd stay at The Holiday Inn Express again next when we visit Hollywood and LA.

Holidy inn express was great! Nice clean rooms with comfy beds. Great breakky. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Super close to all attractions, very short distance to the walk of fame. Tour buses will pick up from this hotel. The gym has scales if you want to weigh your luggage before flying home. Would stay there again.

Walking distance to the star walk of fame...10mins drive to universal studios....great rooms...comfy beds.2 double..pull out Sofa was okay for little ones only due to room and very worn springs...clean rooms/bathrooms..microwave ...fridge .....
room safe...free breakfast in the morning for all was great lots to choose from....inground pool...gym...guest.laundry...valet parking at cost (not to expensive though). Would stay here again for location... Reasonably priced for its location.. A little noisy from rd but all hotels are on main rds....
