“Fun, fun, fun.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

I've been to Universal in Orlando, Fla. Both parks are very good. I went in late May and the lines were short, which gave us the opportunity to repeat rides. You can not leave the park without seeing Transformers and Universal tour. My recommedation is that start with Transformers, continue with Return of the Mummy and Jurassic Park, and then go to The Simpsons, Universal Tour and the rest of the attractions..

“Make a day of it.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Great theme park. I took two fifteen year old boys and felt comfortable letting the explore on their own. They had phones just in case they needed me or I wanted to check on them. We arrived at opening time and left just before closing. I only saw them a couple of time during the day. They enjoyed the freedom as much as the park. It was not crowded early on but the crowds did pick up mid-morning. Glad we paid the extra for the front of the line pass. They didn't have to wait for any of the attractions. A little pricey but lots of fun. Great day.

“VIP was excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Took the VIP tour and it was excellent, went on all the rides and had a fantastic day. I would advise the VIP tour if its in your budget as you get to see a lot more of the actual studio on foot and straight on the rides.

“A FANTASTIC WORLD”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

We spent the whole day to see and enjoy everything of the Universal Studios magic world at Los Angeles. Really is magnificent to get around with the small cute train and be explained of every detail about the tricks they use to make a film for the cinema. How they made a river, a fire, a bridge-breaking etc. There are so many cafe, restaurants, shows, souvenir-shops for your amusement.... no way to get tired, all are fantastic !!!!!!!!

“Magnificent...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

It is as entertaining as everyone tells you! Unless you go there during a long weekend due to a bank holiday, the longest wait times are 60-80 minutes ( in the newest rides such as Transformers and Simpsons).

Needless to say, in the early hours, wait times are minimal (10-15 min), they go up to 30-40 in the afternoon.

For lunch, you can leave the park if you want and eat at the City Walk which is cheaper ( I examined the menu of a popular Chinese fast food chain that is present both in the park and City Walk- it is going to be 3-4 dollars cheaper per person in the Walk). You just get a stamp when leaving the park and show it when you are reentering - you need to have your ticket with you of course.

Parking: Normal parking is 15. Preferred is 20. I guess preferred parking is just closer to the theme park so you walk less. We chose normal parking and had a pleasent 5-10 min stroll to the park through the City Walk.

If you do not have a car while visiting, take the metro to the Universal City stop and take the free shuttle uphill all the way to the front of the entrance.

Regarding the rides: Studios ride is essential. Transformers, Simpsons and Jurassic Park rides are highly recommended.
If you arrive early (9 AM), you can finish it in a day.
