“It's all in the names”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

I actually didn't watch a movie at Grauman's Chinese, but I found myself more than entertained just staring at the ground in front of the theater. Although it may seem silly, there's something so powerful about seeing the hand- and footprints of the brightest start in Hollywood history. It takes the whole Walk of Fame idea to a higher plane. Best of all, it's free, there's no line, and it won't take up much of your day.

“Interesting, but horrible neighbourhood.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012 via mobile

Interesting to see the handprints, and the range of actors from the 20s to current film stars. I didn't take the tour, so I was only there for around 15 mins. But the area was horrible, crowded, dirty, and stressful, as you get approached by so many people trying to sell CDs, tours or photos. I enjoyed it but I wouldn't go back.

“A Disappointment”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

If you're walking down Hollywood Blvd, I suppose it's worth a peek, but don't go out of your way to visit. I think it's more interesting due to its history than the reality of the place. Most of the hand/footprints are from such old celebrities that I've gotta imagine many folks are wondering, "Who's Myrna Loy?"

One thing I didn't like was that to get in, behind the little rope fence, you have to agree to them taking your photo which of course they try to sell you later. UGH! Just let people in. Only a minor problem but still irritating.

I wasn't hassled by the hawkers but I saw others who were. They got quite aggressive with one guy. I don't know, maybe he offended them in some way, but it still made for an unpleasant atmosphere. Don't have high hopes for this site.

“Must-do place in LA”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

There's not a lot to see there (just foot prints and a lot of Supermans, Avengers and women dressed like Marilyn Monroe, which will take a picture with you), but that was expected. It's worth to go there, because this place is famous and have its own history, but don't expect a lot of entertainment there. If you want to have more fun you can always visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.

“Ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012 via mobile

Ok, but I wouldn't spend a lot of time with it
It's a nice building and all...
The wall of fame is in front of it... So you can spend like 15 minutes there.
I didn't go on the tour because its was closed... Anyway... I didn't feel that there was a lot to see
