We ended up at Simon's Cafe on a fluke - the sushi restaurant next door we'd intended to try was closed. Being hungry and tired from a long day of travel, we decided to give Simon's a try and were pleasantly surprised.
We were waited on by Simon himself, the chef and owner - a very nice man. My wife and I shared a vegetarian combo appetizer, which was perfect for two. The falafel was very fresh, and the baba ganoush and hummus were great as well. The bread was also hot and very fresh.
We also shared an order of vegetable couscous for an entree. The vegetables were served in a broth, and the couscous came out in a tagine. The couscous was very flavorful, but it felt like the veggies could have used a little more seasoning.
Overall, the food was good and the service was friendly. We would definitely come back if we are in the area again.
