We stayed in the Egyptian suite. Phenomenal. From the moment Denise meets you at the door, until the morning after, an experience to savor. We loved everything about it! The sunken tub and balcony! And the four post bed is good for tying!

We booked a couple of days in the Gypsy Suite as part of a week long wine vacation. This is a very playful place stay, quiet, NO KIDS allowed, very clean and very artistic. Just check the photos on the webpage for room details. Believe me, even though they look pretty good on the webpage, they look better in person. The movies and the theme music are picked specially for each room and they have done a great job. The price includes a fantastic breakfast every morning which is delivered through a food butler in the wall which means AM friskiness will not be interrupted. There is also a nice place to sit outside and enjoy an evening bottle of whatever you want. It's only 15 minutes away from some of the best winery tasting rooms in the area.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms. I got to see them all when I was there so just pick the theme that tickles y...

I didn't know what to expect when we booked this suite. We picked the 50's room and were completely blown away at the attention to every single detail imaginable. The artistry and ingenuity are not to be understated. We toured all of the rooms with the exception of the Pirate room, which was occupied, upon our arrival.

Our room included an impeccably restored yellow '56 Cadillac convertible that was made into a bed. The bed faces a wall with a massive screen that serves as a drive-in theater complete with silver speakers on stands. The walls are painted with a 50's drive in theater theme, including a snack shop. There is a small jukebox that softly plays some of the greatest hits of the '50's. The room includes a selection of CD's that can be played from the car and seen up on the drive-in movie screen. The ambiance it creates is fun, romantic and playful.

The sink and vanity area is made to look like it is part of a car or garage and there is a coffee table made out of the back of a matching '56 Cadillac with backlights that serve as a nightlight if needed. There are beautiful neon lights that softly illuminate the room and are completely controllable by the guest.

The bathroom is hidden in the wall and can be accessed by pushing the Hollywood sign painted on the wall. The bathroom is filled with fun writings on the wall. The one drawback is that the bathroom is very small, but this point is easily one that can be overlooked based on the entire fantasy package.

The innkeepers are amazing and are available on a moment's notice. A gourmet breakfast magically arrives in the wall every morning at a time that you personally designate.

Many of the rooms we looked at included amazing amenities and aromatherapy to compliment each fantasy.

We spent two glorious nights in the suite and I cannot possible express how incredibly happy it made us.

Room Tip: Look at the types of rooms and ask questions about the sizes of the beds. My husband 6' 4"...

We stayed in the Gypsy room and loved all its charm and detail....bed was in a carriage with beads and all! Wonderful in room hot tub in the ground of our room with murals of nature on all the surrounding walls. All the rooms are full of detail and a lot of fun! Would love to come back and stay at the Egyptian or roman themed room, husband liked the 50's room due to the big screen and surround sound. Very hospitable innkeepers and great breakfast! It was a place I won't forget!

Room Tip: All the rooms are unique but I liked the gypsy, roman, Egyptian and 50's themed rooms the best!

My wife and I stayed in the Egyptian room and wow wow wow did I say wow the room was just great! lets just say fun, relaxing, quiet, clean and on and on. Stayed in some nice hotels in vegas but this place rocks. Nothing was missed, all set up for you to just have a good time and do little or a lot of your time there. met Rod at the B&B and you could instantly tell he was the owner. Full of life, loved to talk to you about his experience staying there himself. And his dreams for the future. Cant wait to see what his wife and he will come up next. If you think you cant afford to stay here think again worth every penny and then some. we WILL be back Thanks for a great memory.

Room Tip: Cant go wrong with any room we stayed in the Egyptian room but next we are going to stay in the Gyps...

We stayed in the 50's room. The decor is amazing and the movie screen is awesome! We watched 3 movies provided in the room from the comfort of the caddy-turned-bed. There is also a mini jukebox, very cool hot tub and in room fireplace. Complimentary wine and a delicious breakfast served in your room at your requested time. Rod was super nice and makes sure you have everything you need, also gave great suggestions on local places to check out. He was very gracious and went out of his way to make sure the guests are comfortable and have a great visit. He even showed us the room across the way from ours as the guests hadn't yet checked in. The 50's room has amazing neon lights all around and many fun touches. I would highly recommend The Victorian Mansion and we look forward to returning to try the other rooms as well. This place is unique, one of a kind and super cool! Loved the '50's room, you won't be disappointed!

Room Tip: My hubby is 6 ft 4 tall, and was a little cramped in the car bed so might not be the best bed for yo...

I was referred to The Victorian Mansion in Los Alamos by a co-worker. She stayed in the Pirate Room, and I decided to make a reservation for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived and were greeted by Denise, who was very nice and gave us a tour of all the rooms. We particularly liked the 50's room which had a car as a bed and a movie screen to watch a movie. Maybe next time we will ask for this room? We loved the Pirate Room. The tub was amazing! Denise was very helpful as she recommended a few restaurants to go to for dinner. If you want something unique and romantic, we highly recommend The Victorian Mansion.
