It sounds nice to stay on a famous ship like the Queen Mary, but you can visit the ship without booking a cabin. Of course the cabine looked different on their website, but so much?. Let's be honest, a regular room at one of the motelchains offer more luxery. The ship lies at a place where nothing is going on. When you want to have the dinner you can eat at the ship, which is overpriced in my opinion, or you can take your car and find a nice restaurant in long beach. Wrapping it all up, for me, the Queen Mary was a tourist trap.
