we are not wimps ...this was off the charts ...the family of five who resided in the room below were full of sores and had head lice ...the doors slamming all night ....drugs and thugs....
its cheap but a park bench would be safer and more comfortable....scarey....for real!!!!!

I had booked a Days Inn on Travelocity. It was in a horrible neightborhood. A friend suggested this place. It was small quiet and clean. The rooms are a bit old and worn, but fairly clean. It is well placed and the set-up was great. We had a fridge and microwave in a separate kitchen with a sink and cupboard to store things. It is definately not a fancy hotel, but for $62 per night, it was great! It is also on the Passport bus line and a short walk from Belmont Shores. There is grocery store on one side, a liquer store on the other. We walked to the Beach everyday and to Chuck's Diner for breakfast.

This place can only be described as a dump. For $70, I would expect far better than filthy bathrooms and threadbare towels. Belmont Shores is to be avoided at all costs.

I wasn't expecting much from the price, but this was just sad. The place was dirty. It wasn't even clean. I thought it would be fine based on the positive review of this property, but I must say that I was unimpressed. I mean, the room was literally DIRTY.

This was apparently an old apartment complex that was converted to a motel. The rooms have a small kitchenette with a fridge. The bathrooms are just scary when it comes to dirt. Don't look in the shower/tub, because you will find years of grime there. There are no phones in the rooms (not that you need them these days). With some money and renovations, this place could be really nice. Unfortunately, I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

If you're looking for a cheap place in the area, try one of the auction sites and put in a bid for a $50 hotel. You'll be MUCH happier!
