We stayed here for our 32nd anniversary with friends. We booked the two-bedroom suite with ocean view, and received what we requested. It was more like being in a two-bedroom apartment. Plenty of privacy for each couple, plus the shared living/kitchen space. Admitedly, the place is old, but for the value, the view and the friendliness of the staff, it was worth every penny and more. Staff was terrific!!! Not a question they could not answer, and they could not have been more helpful if we had paid them extra. We definitely plan on returning!

Stayed here for 3 nights in April. Can honestly say it was the worst place we have ever stayed in.The first room we were allocated had water stood on the bathroom floor, the fridge looked like it was from a dump. We got "upgraded" to a suite, room 19 lots of cupboards in the kitchen with nothing in them. The lounge had a table with a couple of minging chairs with torn covers and a tatty sofa with a hole on the arm plus a tv. The bedroom was barren with a rail for clothes and the bathroom was very mouldy with a light that came on whenever and the shower was very hot or very cold. The upstairs guest was very noisy.On the plus side the towels were clean and soft. This was our last stop on our California experience after staying in a Travelodge and a Best Western which were both excellent.

I booked this online for my first couple of nights in Long Beach, my room was at the front opposite reception and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, however there was a lot of noise at night and early in the morning. There was no air con in the room. I moved to a nicer hotel with air con that was cheaper after my first 2 days.

Overall, it was not a bad experience except for the noise, that may not have affected other rooms.

was here for conference, was within walking distance Long Beach Convention Center however, bathroom and kitchen floor dirty and had some slippery filth on them so was afraid to walk barefoot. Toilet seat dirty, toilet tank cover not right size, tank square, cover round and smaller than tank (see photo), toilet handle had to hold to flush, shower was height of little person (see image) and I'm petite plus dripped continuously after shutoff. kitchen equipped with micro, fridge and stove but no utensils, pans (except teapot) no dishes etc., staff personable and friendly but accomodation not as described or as expected, bedroom television remote missing, 3 doors to this room but only one usable, and that one tricky (my experience and that of management), gaps between doors and floor, windows won't open, doors stick, won't close or open (same for kitchen cupboards/cabinets). distance to food (restaurant and grocery) quite a walk. Served the purpose for 4 days but had I known, would have paid more to stay elsewhere. Ocean view was actually parking lot but beach beyond. Only window that opens is right next to pool hence noisy, no AC, heater is small wall unit in main entry room
