“Quiet place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

I wanted to find a nice hot chicken burrito . The place was not very busy , but I was curious . The beer was ice cold . The salsa was home made , loaded with cilantro and excellent !
I do not eat much salt and the burrito tasted too salty for me . I would probably return as the place was quiet and pretty clean . The staff were friendly too .
Prices were reasonable .

“Not bad better than Taco Smell”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Mexican food here was average at best but I guess I'm trying to compare it with Mexican food in L.A. The food was average at best and pretty pricey but its a notch better than Taco Bell.

“Full menu of Mexican cuisine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

This place was packed! I'm guessing it must be popular with the locals. The menu had pretty much any Mexican dish you can think of. The food was good and plentiful. There are also a number of imported beers available. If you're in Lone Pine and you're in the mood for Mexican food, this is the pace for you.

“Service Was Grand”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

The food was ok, but more of a late night grub place. The service was fantastic and the food was quick! Kind of a good place to hit up before returning to your room.

“Would definitely go back!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

We were heading back home after a visit to the Alabama Hills and stopped here for lunch. It's an unpretentioius, diner-like place, the menu is quite extensive - it even has a vegetarian section! As other reviewers noted, there is only one person working the front, and she was busy but efficient. The salsa seemed homemade, with a nice tang. My carnitas were pretty good (and enough that we got lunch the next day from the leftovers), but my partner's chili verde was the best either of us had ever had. Extra points for having aguas frescas. I'd like to try it for breakfast if I'm back in the area.
