“Stay away”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

I travel all the time and try to save money when and where I can. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! The room is horrible, Bathroom looks like you are walking into a bottle of PETO looking for a place to yak. Cobwebs in the corner. The towels feel like sand paper with stains on them, Hope they were washed. Walls in the bathroom had been painted but it looks like they ran out of paint as the old blue color could be seen through the white, they had painted the tile in the shower, don't have clue why. The wood on the doors could be pulled off by a two year old. Lets not talk about the green slime that was growing in the beautiful picture of the pool you see on the website. Slept on top of the bedspread cause I was afraid of the bedspread that came from the 60's. Wireless service and cell service, forget about it. I have never posted a review on a hotel/motel, take this for what you will.

sorry, but i hope you did not have a terrible day at work to bring it out at a room that is nice and clean (regarding the age of the motel). the wifi service is one of the best in town if you even tried it.
and if you even tried lifting the bed spread, and to your amazement, you would have found snow white crispy sheets. have a nice day and do try us again. thank you.

We stayed at this older refurbished inn for eight nights while visiting family and friends. The location was terrific, ideal for those who don't wish to rely too heavily on there car. There were many good restaurants within walking distance and two shopping centers, one of which included a Trader Joe's. There is a great cinema two blocks away where you can have beer, wine and even dinner while watching the film of your choice. If you like to walk, the Arroyo Mocho trail is close by. If you want easy access to Bart, there is a RAPID bus stop to the Dublin/Pleasanton station nearby ( takes about 20 minutes). Our hotel room was clean and quiet and equipped as advertised. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The price was great. We'll be back next year.

It’s a mixed bag.
Their strongest and most appealing feature is the price. We paid around $60 per night and that is 35% to 50% less than what we would have paid at our usual Livermore area stay. The room has no bugs and water pressure of the shower was strong and their free Wi-Fi worked great.
As for the not-so-good stuff, the list is longer: worn out and scratchy sheets, a noisy in-room refrigerator, noisy plumbing sound from neighboring rooms (it woke me up one night), a clogging sink. The soap was rough and they provided very minimum number of towels; one wash cloth, one hand towel and two bath towels.
Water from the faucet tasted horrible and they only supplied us two mini bottled waters per day. It is an old building and their keep-up efforts are not successful; using a touch up paint that is several shades off and adding a dangling power cord to accommodate multiple electric appliances in the room. Free breakfast was supposed to be available but none was offered/mentioned to us although I saw some cereal and apples at the office when we checked in at night (they didn’t look fresh).
We knowingly picked this $60 per night establishment and expected to experience $60 per night level of amenity and comfort and we did. What do I say after the three nights stay? I am afraid the $60 level of amenity and comfort were not quite enough for me. But I am not expecting my financial status to improve anytime soon so I might have to learn to like (or tolerate) it. I could/will try this place again if I needed or feel like it but will try to find a $65 per night place first elsewhere and give it a try (I am kidding).

i stayed with my husband and daughter of 22 for 2 weeks in a double room with kitchen. We had the fridge filled, icecream in the freezer, i even bought pans and stuff for cooking. It was so good and cheap we did not bother to check out when we left the place for 5 days to tour north california. The twobedroom place is big, very comfortable, it's quiet and in the center of Livermore. There is a nice little swimmingpool and apart from the spacious rooms another huge advantage of this hotel over other hotels in livermore is the location: at walking distance of a great movietheater where you can dine while watching the movie, and many restaurants and shops just minutes away. the beds were very comfortable as well. and the television had clear sharp vision. and every day ample clean towels, soap and shampoo. The staff at the receptiondesk is very friendly and service oriented, so is the cleaninglady and the maintenance man. There is a good washing and dry machine for 1 dollar. The only negative point is that the rooms, fridge, curtains and beds ecc. are really very old, torn (curtains) and dirty (stains on the outerbed, carpet, curtains) eventhough there is cleaning every day the place is beyond cleaning really. Sheets and towels were clean though so we did not mind so much the rooms being that rundown.

Room Tip: get the big appartment with two bedrooms and a kitchen, there are three double beds in this appartme...

As the other reviews mention, it is an older property with a small shower. No problem with me. The room was very clean and comfortable, and although on a fairly busy street I found it to be quiet. I had no problem sleeping at all. Room had fridge, microwave, wifi. The staff was very friendly and allowed me to print my boarding pass on their office computer. It was perfect for my stay between visiting the Blackhawk auto museum in Danville, and heading to the San Jose airport the next morning.

Extremely grateful to Mike for his kind help in canceling an e-reservation while we were on the road and couldn't easily navigate the cancellation system for a reservation not made directly through the hotel website. We selected the hotel for proximity to Pleasanton to visit a friend in a nursing facility there. We also liked the responsiveness to other comments posted on this website. Due to changes in the trip itinerary we didn't end up needing to stay on the day planned but while passing through the area on another day drove by and definitely liked the looks and the location, near Trader Joe's, downtown, etc. We would not hesitate to book again!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the staff is very professional, friendly, and they make you feel right at home. It's nice to check into their room so quickly and have everything waiting for you when you arrive. They have complimentary coffee, cereal, waters, granola bars, and a nice fridge/ freezer cooler for your own food if you need it. Location is very central as well to downtown Livermore, with a ton of restaurants and a grocery store right across the street. Excellent value and comfortable setting made for a somber experience. Will definitely return next time.
