We absolutely loved this place! Wow! Chef Marie's gourmet breakfasts were amazing....
The theme of Gone with the Wind was so fun. A great place to go for a romantic weekend!
Both Scott and Marie Munger were our most gracious hosts.....We had attention when needed and privacy as well...What more can you ask? And oh, the nightly swim in the heated pool under the stars......well, need I say more?

We stayed 3 nights on the "stay 2 get 3rd free" offer. Unfortunately our larger room was not available for the 3rd night, so we were in a very small room with a small double bed - cosy!! The bathroom was across the corridor! The service was pleasant & helpful - the place was clean & there was a pool & a very interesting jacuzzi; breakfast was gourmet style - but i did miss my toast & marmalade. No fridge or coffee maker in the rooms - but there is a communal area for making drinks & ice. The only downside is that it is situated on a busy road & the decore is a little worn & outdated - lace glued to the bathroom wall!! every picture & ornament is themed to "Gone with the Wind"

This place was amazing from the room to the pool and lawns and the delicious meals by Chef Marie! After sight-seeing trips to Sequoia it was so wonderful to come back and get into the pool under the stars. The grounds were beautiful and it was so relaxing to just sit back and watch the birds. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Would highly recommend this place.

Front rooms are facing the road and are terribly noisy for sleeping. The hotel is full of vain old frills but not practical at all. The rooms are small, no table, no good chairs, no TV, no A/C, an inch gap under the doors and balcony doors. The house layout is crammed and the rooms have no sound isolation and therefore all the traffic noise wakes you up at 6 am in the morning. The smell of coffee or baking from kitchen wakes you up through an old conduit leading into the rooms in the very early morning as well. Bath is a bathtub in the room which may be erotic but not practical.
Breakfast is excellent in the company of flies, despite the attitude of the owners toward non-Americans.
I could not sleep well for 2 nights there, terribly tired and exhausted left the hotel...
