“Take your time and enjoy it.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

Nicely done road with jaw dropping scenery. East to west, you are on the inside lane, which is very good. The drop offs in some places will make your heart race, if you arent used to it, or have a fear of heights. But its ok, just relax, and pay attention to the road drivers. passengers enjoy, and tell the driver about it later.

“WOW!”

This road is worth the drive with amazing scenery & views. Take your time & enjoy. As it is a National Park there are entry fees & the road is closed during winter.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

Great road that builds anticipation for what's to come. If traveling with a dog, some gorgeous lakes to let them swim prior to entering Yosemite.

“Beautiful scenery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

Great way to enter Yosemite National Park. Lots of places to stop along the way to take pictures and hike. My recommendations are Lembert Dome, Tenaya Lake and Olmsted Point. The Tuolume Sequoia Grove was closed due to the recent fires. The road is pretty windy in spots with drop offs and no guard rails--so keep your eyes on the road. There are also many rangers watching for speeders too. The road is high elevation and you may need to check and see if it is open on the shoulder seasons. We came through at the end of September and two days before it was closed due to 6" of snow.

“Excellent”

Brilliant and breath taking. Scenery was beyond comprehension and is a must visit. Everybody in the park was very friendly and helpfully. The road in and out including the park were inpeccable.
