I found this place by accident. It's next to a AT&T store. And in back of the Target on K street. I just moved back to Calif. from the south Georgia and was craving some good "Orlean's" spicy food.
This place is fantastic! The owner, "Mark" is from Ft. Smith Arkansas, and has worked in many finw culinary assignments in and around New Orleans, so he knows good food, and fortunately, he's brought it back here in Lancaster, for US!
He does 60% take out, but has several tables inside, with pictures of N.O. Simple, but clean and quiet. Now the good part. Here's a sample of his menu, all made fresh and by him or his staff. 1. Brandy garlic, shrimp, crab and crawfish jamalaya. Full dish $14.95 1/2 is $10.95
2. Blackend catfish dennard with seafood etouffee' $14.95
3. Mango pulled jerk chicken $$6.95
4. Honey jerk pork lion topped with pineapple salsa, papay slaw and mango coconut rum sauce. DO DIE FOR! Generous portions too. Try the Banana pecan spiced rum cake! Oh yeah.
He has just enough spice and flavor to make things interesting, without scaring those with sensitive taste buds away. The food is just plain awesome, and we are lucky to have this restaurant as a treat for us. Thanks Mark !!!
*And no, I am not a relative or investor....
