“Awesome Spot!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 weeks ago via mobile

Really beautiful rustic cabins, tucked away on the shores of Lake Arrowhead. Food was great, air clean, peaceful and scenic place. Tennis courts, pool(not open during winter)trails to walk near the water. I attended a conference during my stay. My cabin had a fireplace and no TV. I can't wait to go back again!

We've been to UCLA's conference center a few times, and every time we enjoy it more and more. Here are a few facts:

- The property has a rich history, it was first used by Hollywood stars and later on was given to UCLA
- It has abundance of facilities and fun activities, including Tennis courts, swimming pools, challenge course, zen deck (a deck with 360 degrees view of the lake and mountains), etc.
- It's almost on the lake (with a beach and boat dike), and you can see the lake from almost the entire facility
- They have a variety of accommodation options, from standard hotel rooms to a few bedroom chalets
- The dining option has a very reasonable price and the food is GREAT!
- You can hike up the hill and see breathtaking views of the lake and mountain from the Zen deck
- The bonus additions are the challenge course, rock-climbing wall, the tree house and a frontiers village
- The service and staff are very friendly and polite
- It's great for conferences too with a few conference rooms

We just can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Condolets are less than $200 and can accommodate 6 people.

The service was very good. Ideal location for quiet getaway. Rooms were very clean. All facilities are clean and well maintained. We rented a 2-story condolet. Plenty of parking and close to rooms. This place is so quiet you can hear acorns dropping on your roof. We went when weather was perfect 70s in day, 50s at night. The heater was not working too effectively so we lit the fireplace. very nice. I don't know if our room had AC? There was no kitchen, fridge, or microwave- so eating in our rooms was not ideal. They encourage you to eat in the village or pre-order at the conference center. I wanted my options open so we did not reserve for lunch or dinner. Free breakfast buffet was comp'd. YUM! very nice spread and fantastic table service from staff. I wish I had reserved meals for the entire stay. What a big mistake not to do. I am still kicking myself for not doing it. Food around Lake Arrowhead is TERRIBLE! You can't expect gourmet meals or service from a mountain community, right? RIGHT! DON'T EAT IN THE VILLAGE. Once I discovered this it was too late to add meals to my stay. They should change that rule and be more flexible. I was very willing to pay. I can't believe I missed out on roasted short ribs from the chef's kitchen at the lodge. There is no TV but thank goodness we brought ipads for the hubby and kids. Free wifi was a plus.

Room Tip: Don't eat in the village! Reserve with UCLA for ALL your meals. PLEASE!

Fantastic place for a group conference or meeting. Relaxing and laid back place that helps you focus on your training. Food is fantastic, room comfortable but no air conditioning. Comfortable meeting rooms with ability to sit in one large group or several small. You can also stay her just as a guest with no ties to a conference. Swimming pool, gym, it has it all but NO televisions in the rooms.

nestled up above 5,000 feet in the Southern Ca. Mountains, here is a picturesque, spotless, resort. It features dark wooded lodge and many confortable "townhouse like" rooms. Individual conference rooms could serve your party easily. Great food, beautifull pool and beach area.

Room Tip: Try to get a room NOT on the highest part of the path. One such path is called "cardiac hill&qu...

I was on a convention and did not have enough time to enjoy, but based on what I saw the place was "out of this world!" In the woods, by the lake, clean air, excellent food, and the list goes on and on...

Room Tip: It is worth to pay for the meal.

There is no better place for a mountain conference retreat for your company or during the holidays for the family to be together than the UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead, California. Spacious rooms with wood burning fireplaces and fast WiFi connectivity make for productive company retreats. There's a quality fitness center, tennis courts, zip line and more for the team building experience.

During summer and the winter holidays the conference center becomes Bruin Woods, a premier family camp staffed with awesome UCLA student counselors who keep the kids occupied while parents relax in the cozy main lodge or take hikes around the lake or meditate at the zen center. This place is magical.

Best of all the all-inclusive price includes spectacular meals in the communal dining room prepared by top flight chefs. The Thanksgiving feast is especially noteworthy. Hard not to overheat but oh so worth it!

From arrival to departure the professional staff is attentive to your needs and available at all times. We'll be back!

Room Tip: Depends on number of people. There are small to large rooms with lofts, 2bathrooms. Etc. Talk to the...
