Lovely hotel, great room, but beware of hidden costs, such a charge to use the leisure facilities....! Cost of breakfast requires a bank loan....better hotels, offering better value...Parking fees are outrageous, so look for alternative parking. my hidden fees came to over $400 just for 6 days....!

sitting on the deck looking at the paddleboarders paddle by and the birds drift in the wind sooo relaxing. Rooms still great. Had a massage also great. You get a paper at your door in the morning --but you do have to go to the lobby for coffee in the morning -- that is ok no old beat up coffee maker like many places have. Next trip I hope I can stay longer

We had a king room in the main tower and enjoyed the spectacular view and sounds of the surf. We had an excellent dinner and breakfast at Splashes. Special thanks to Emil the night manager for taking care of a special request. We will look forward to a return visit to this lovely property.

This hotel is right on the ocean with spectacular views. The rooms are beautifully furnished with the bed facing out toward the ocean. The terrace was large and watching the sunset was close to perfection. There is no AC in the rooms, but there is a ceiling fan. The room was very hot in the late afternoon with the sun streaming in but cooled off quickly once the sun set. Not sure what it would be like in the summer heat. We did need to sleep with the terrace sliding door open and the ocean was deafening. It didn't bother me (the hotel provides ear plugs) but it did keep my husband from sleeping.

The major problem with the hotel is also the reason why it is so special. It is literally built into the cliff from the road to the beach below. This means that there are steps everywhere. In fact our room required 2 flights of steps or an elevator with only one flight of steps. I am told that one of the buildings has an elevator throughout but it doesn't take you all the way to the beach. If you can't do steps then you might want to go elsewhere. It could be a real workout. Moreover, because of the location this hotel is not a spacious resort that you might be used to. There is a very beautiful beach with free umbrellas and chairs, but no loungers. The pool area is small and it feels cramped especially if there are a lot of kids running around.The chairs are piled on top of each other and it gets very hot during the mid afternoon. The food poolside was great.

THe restaurant is lovely and the food was not exceptional but certainly better than any of the other restaurants in the area.
