I went to these amazing gardens nearly 13 years ago and loved the experience. The owner, Hortense Miller, is quite a sage and has a story about all the differing plants, shrubs and trees on her property. At that time, she was 90 years+ Then, about six years ago, I returned at her invitation (from the first visit) to give her some bulbs she'd never heard of or seen-CA Crocus. She is as sharp as a copper penny. It is truly a gardener's paradise. Ask about her "reed fence, chairs and patio cover." If you visit at different seasons, there is so much variety that you'll never tire of its beauty. Plan on spending some time there. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Pacific and also the hills behind the property. P.S. She has a Holly vine growing and other surprises you'd never expect to find here in So. CA. Enjoy!
