“I enjoyed walking the path along the cliffs overlooking the beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2012

I came down to Laguna Beach to walk around. After finding a parking spot (it can be tough), I walked along the beach by the iconic lifeguard station in the center of town up to the stairs that lead up to a path that runs northward along the cliffs.

The views from the cliffs are amazing. You can see the beach and waves below as well surfers and dolphins in the water.

The are plenty of public toilets and water showers for bathers.

I think that Laguna Beach is a terrific place to visit. You have the beach and cliffs on one side and plenty of art shops and restaurants lining the PCH and neighboring streets.

This is a great beach for walking or enjoying from a distance. Beautiful sunsets, if the sky is clear.

This is the best of the orange county beaches. Easy to get to, park, and enjoy. Plus plenty of places to sit.

“.... and fun for all...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2012

How many places can you find that offers sun, surf, fine dining, boutiques, fine art galleries, hamberger shacks, la ocal dog park, and tide pools? Yes, you read right...TIDE POOLS. So Cal's hidden little secret... Laguna Beach. This wonderful beach offers a bit of everything for everyone, even your pet dog!

The tide pools are the first thing I hit the moment I get there. Depending on the season, the tide will be high, or low. When the tide is low, you can find all kinds of treasures like conch, sea anemones, starfish, sand glass... and so much more! However, these treasures can only be admired in thier native habitat, no removing of these items is permitted.

Once you've worked up an appetite, scoot down to the local eateries... for French, there's "La Vie" - wonderful dishes at reasonable prices. There's also The Watermark, French 75, Mozambique, The White House, Henesseys and so MUCH more!

To walk off your delicious meal... visit the local art galleries. Some names you'll recognize like Dr. Seus, Wymann, and many others.. There are paintings, scultures, pottery, the selections are endless.

Starting in August, Laguna Beach offers its annual Saw Dust Festival, the Pageant of the Masters.. if you have never looked it up, it's a must! Parking around these events can get tricky... so plan to leave early. If you can find local parking, park up the way! Laguna offers fantastic transportation system - free Trolley's!

So where you have a loved one, a family, a dog, or just want to 'get away'... find yourself in Laguna... I always do!
