“Great value”

Embassy Suites Hotel and Spa La Quinta

stayed here as part of honeymoon.
this hotel is very clean, the rooms are very spacious with a seperate lounge and bedroom.
The hotel has a main pool area, and then it has 4 little pools around the main building as well with whirlpools which was lovely to relax in and soak up the sun.
the complimentary breakfast each morning is really super, you can have an omelette made for you, plus there are other things to eat as well, and also there is a nightly managers reception with free drinks and snacks.

La Quinta is a good 40 mins drive from Palm Springs which was a bit further away than we realised however this didnt spoil things for us.

there is also a supermarket near the hotel where you can stock up as there is a fridge in your suite which is very handy!

all in all, a very good experience and i would definatley stay here and at other embasssy suites again.

I was able to book the new La Quinta Embassy Suites at the last minute using Hotwire. I paid $79 per night for a Weds-Thursday the last week in February (high season, but there were no special events). There is NO RESORT Fee (compare this to the La Quinta Resort which charges $27/day). Yet great amenities are included in the price, including a cooked to order breakfast (nice omelette bar with choice of veggies and ham), free well drinks and snacks in the evening, two free computers with internet in the lobby (the printer was broken), USA Today paper, and a nice workout room with several treadmills, elliptical machines, and cycle, as well as a few strength machines). This location has been open about 18 months, and the rooms and public areas are clean and in near-perfect condition. The check in was fast and friendly, and I asked for and received a top floor room with a view (bear in mind the hotel was not full). I'm not sure if there is bellhop service since I didn't have much luggage and didn't ask. Parking is free and plentiful. I stayed in the hotel which has four floors of rooms around the central atrium and ground floor lobby. I noticed NO problems with noise intrusion, although I was tucked into an alcove and wasn't directly on the atrium. Nice view of the mountains from the bedroom. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of pillows. The bathroom has a large counter but only one sink basin, and water pressure was fine. There is a wetbar with mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The living room has a second TV, table and four chairs, and a sleeper sofa with coffee table. Checkout is at a generous time of 12 noon (later than is common in this area).
The hotel is located across the street from Old Town La Quinta, where there are assorted restaurants including Stuft Pizza. There's a Ralphs supermarket not far away, and a Trader Joe's on Washington near Hwy 111. You can book discounted golf times at La Quinta/PGA West/Silverrock using Stand by Golf.

Was upgraded at check-in to a very large and well appointed casita that shared a private pool with a few other buildings. With the exception of dim lighting n the bathroom the accomodations were very nice. The property is huge, unlike any other Embassy Suites I've stayed at. Staff at check-in are very pleasant and the property is very well maintained. This would be a great place to come with a family, even though I was there for business purposes.

This hotel was superb in all areas. The hotel is relatively new and it felt like we stayed in our suite as the first guests. The rooms were huge, with a couch, two TVs, a very comfy bed, large bathroom, kitchenette and small dining table. For the price we paid the value was exceptional. The pool is nice and the free happy hour and made-to-order breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was very polite and helpful. My only negative about the hotel is the location. It is somewhat out of the way, which could be nice if you were into that. But, it was a little far from the main attractions/dining in the area.

Overall I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

The very friendly receptionist informed us on arrival that we had been given an upgrade to one of the suites set outside the main hotel building in condos set around their own pool. Talk about luxury! The suite was gorgeous - large lounge/kitchen, bedroom and bath - all with high ceilings. The kitchen had everything you could wish for - so we went shopping at the nearby supermarket and ate in! There was a washing machine/dryer combination too so I could catch up on some laundry. Our 25 -year -old son slept on a comfortable sofa-bed in the lounge (which even had a (fake) log fire. The complementary drinks in the main hotel in the evening were very generous, including snacks. The breakfast buffet (also included) was excellent. We didn't check out until the last minute (12 midday) so that we could chill out at the pool just outside our suite.
