The outdoor patio is nice, but the food lacks everything. The chips presented with the salsa were doused with salt. Inedible, even for a salt-loving friend. When we asked the waitress about it, she shook the basket, tossed the chips around, and laughed . We asked for another batch, unsalted, and they tasted exactly the same. Small gripe, but at the prices for this establishment, unacceptable.
The appetizer combo plate (empandas, flautas, bacon wrapped prawns) tasted pre-cook and re-fried--greasy and bland. The "signature" pecan crusted halibut was mushy and not hot, green enchiladas were tasteless with minimal sauce, the spicy red chile braised shrimp were definitely not spicy (or flavorful), and the chicken enchiladas tasted like something you'd get at a chain restaurant, or fast food take out. I wouldn't say this was an off night for the kitchen as everything was horrible.
